BARCOS EN GIJÓN

Este fotografía es cuando llego en Gijón. ¡Gijón es fabuloso! Cerca de la playa hay muchos barcos en el océano. Los barcos tienen muchos colores y algunos son largo y algunos pequeños. ¡Me gusta la playa! El tiempo fui hace calor, lluvia, y nublado. ¡Loco tiempo aquí en Oviedo!

CHOCOLATE CON CHURROS

En el veinticinco de Mayo, no tuvímos escuela porque había un día de fiesta en Oviedo. Nadie personas tenía que trabajar, y había festivales. En el parque de San Francisco, escucho a un hombre cantando. ¡El tiene una voz alta! ¡Fue un día bueno! Permítame explicar.

Después de desayuno, encuentré con mis amigas cerca del parque de San Francisco. Nosotros caminamos alrededor el parque mirando los mercados. Tomamos un autobús a Gijón. Allí, hemos encontrado la playa y hemos tostado debajo del sol. Hace calor, pero cambió a lluvia. Después de la playa, nos empapamos pero caminamos a una chocolatería. Comimos churros con chocolate. ¡Es delicioso! El chocolate es caliente. Está suculento pero delicioso también. La comida aquí en Oviedo es fabulosa. Mi nueva mama es una cocinera buena. Ella prepara comida nutritivo por mi salud. Me gusta mi nueva familia aquí. Yo fui a mi casa para cena y dormirse.

¡Deséame suerte para mi primero semana en escuela!

RUNNING AWAY

So here I am finishing packing my suitcase and the items on my "to-do" list are almost all checked off. Deep breath.

I am so excited for Oviedo, Spain and this is a new experience for me. Studying abroad before I get married is something on my bucket list, and this was my chance to cross it off! Spain appealed to me because I like practicing Spanish, and I love to travel to new places. Looking at photographs, there are also many interesting sites in the city; for example, San Francisco Park and Cámara Santa. I think Spain is a beautiful city and after the study abroad I plan to backpack around Europe with some friends! It's hard and scary leaving my family but I’m happy too. Another one of my biggest fears is losing my passport or camera. So, I will have to hold on to those like glue, and come what may!

I am so excited to meet my host family! There are three people in my family: My mom is a 50 year old single mom, and she has two daughters. One is 19 years old and the other is 17 years old. The oldest goes to the university, the younger graduates this year, and the mother keeps busy with her job. Their house is around a large park. From what I know, Oviedo is a small and quiet city. I can't wait to explore, smell the new smells, taste the new flavors, hear the new sounds, and soak it all up. I think I'm going to love it!
